A two-day holiday in London

Introduction

In this activity you will be taking a virtual trip to London for a couple of days. You'll visit various places and gather information about them as well as the weather, your hotel and a restaurant.

Your goals for this activity are:

•     Learn some tourist information about London
•     Read and comprehend  tourist-type information in English
•     Navigate web pages to gather information

Task

• You have to make plans on the Internet.         
• You are going to visit some places. In each part of the activity  you will have to gather information that you will need to write and save in Espronceda or El Brocense word processor.                                         

The Hotel

You can spend as much money as you want to, but it is important that the hotel is not far from the most interesting places. Find a hotel for two nights -Friday and Saturday nights- and answer these questions.

The weather

You will need to know what the weather is like in London. Find information about the weather predictions for the next weekend there and write the facts you gather in your document.

 Now you are going sightseeing. Travel around London on a virtual tour. Have a look at all the photos you find and read what is written in each part of your visit. Write a list of the five most interesting photos for you and a couple of things about each of them.
